At Cricket Kids, we believe a child’s first experience of sport should be positive, playful and pressure free. This is why our sessions put fun and encouragement before technique, focus on inclusion and friendship, and celebrate every child’s achievements, whether it’s their first time holding a bat or if they are already cricket mad!
We want children to have FUN, make FRIENDS, and develop the FIRST SKILLS that will set them up for success in later formats of the game.
What is Cricket Kids?
Cricket Kids offers engaging cricket classes tailored for toddlers, preschoolers and young kids, blending fun with age appropriate skill development. Our sessions are designed to incorporate short bursts of activity that introduces the foundations of cricket in a way that feels exciting and supportive.
Through games, movement and imagination, children learn key skills such as basic coordination, throwing, catching, batting and bowling, whilst also developing social skills when interacting with teammates.
There is no pressure to perform and no expectation to “be good”. Just supportive coaches with a desire to encourage smiles, movement, and lots of high fives.
Age specific coaching
Our sessions are designed to nurture cricket skills in children aged 2 to 6 years, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that enables children to develop at their own pace. We split the children by age group, and have 3 classes. You can learn more about the classes and what to expect here
Experienced coaches
Our sessions are led by ECB qualified coaches who carefully plan sessions to focus on early skill development and fun ways to be active, whilst fostering a supportive environment that promotes confidence and teamwork amongst the kids. Our coaches hold enhanced-DBS certificates. You can learn more about our coaches here
Community focused
We aim to build a vibrant community through our sessions, working with local cricket clubs to expand access to quality cricket coaching for younger children
